Microsoft project 2013 compatibility with office 2016 free
Provides IT admins with information about which versions of Office, Project, and Visio can be installed together on the same computer. I have Office click to run installed on a PC running Windows I do not currently have any version of Project installed.
Microsoft Project Professional – Download
I have standalone Office Professional, and I have just purchased and tried to install Project Professional On installation of Project I’m told that I must uninstall office in order to complete the install. As you can imagine this is not an option as I need the use of office and Project at the same time, and it is not practical to have them spread over 2 laptops etc.
I’m hoping some one can advise me as to whether or not there is a work around, or am I going to have to purchase the office suite just to get project working. To assist you with your query, the information you got from customer service is correct. We have no other work around on this. There will be a compatibility issue if those two are installed together. Thanks for your feedback. Both Visio and Project are expensive products that I don’t want to upgrade but I also don’t want to lose them. Was this reply helpful? I posted this reply on that blog when I was researching this:. And yet, even though I have a retail copy of Project I could not install Office until it was removed and cannot re-install it with Office present. This is despite being advised by MS “Support” originally that this would work and having gone back to them they are saying Project cannot be on the same PC with Office It turned out that although I have a retail copy of Project bought through a work plan it is a click to run install.
Hence, it cannot install with Office I was able to get an MSI installer version from Technet by downloading an evaluation copy of Project after registering.
