Let’s Make Your Next Live Event Unforgettable!

What’s Your Story? — Why This Series Matters

Everyone has a story. Everyone has a journey that shaped them — and if there’s one thing I’ve learned traveling the country speaking to teens, parents, and audiences of all kinds, it’s that people are far more resilient than they realize.

That’s why I created What’s Your Story?
This pilot marks the beginning of a larger mission: to highlight real people with real experiences and show the world how powerful our stories truly are.

In this first episode, I hit the road with friends to meet incredible individuals who opened up about their lives, challenges, and defining moments. Their honesty, courage, and vulnerability remind us that no one succeeds alone — and no one grows without struggle.

The Heart Behind the Pilot

This show was built with one core idea in mind:

Your story matters — even the parts you wish you could erase.

Too often, we compare ourselves to others and forget that our challenges are the very things that make us strong. The people I spoke with for this pilot didn’t share polished success reels. They shared truth. They shared adversity. They shared what shaped them.

And that’s what makes this episode so meaningful.

As you watch, I hope you’re reminded that:

  • You’re not alone.

  • You’re stronger than you think.

  • Your story is still being written — and you have the pen.

Lessons from the Road

Throughout filming, a few themes kept showing up again and again:

1. Everyone has a turning point

A moment where life forces you to choose: stay the same, or grow.

2. Pain can become purpose

The people we interviewed proved that some of the hardest experiences can unlock the greatest strengths.

3. Connection heals

Hearing someone else’s story often gives us the courage to face our own.

4. Your voice matters

No matter who you are, someone needs to hear what you’ve been through. You might be the hope someone else has been waiting for.

Why This Project Means So Much to Me

After years of working with teens and families through The Attitude Advantage, I’ve seen firsthand how shame and isolation hold people back. When someone finally tells their story, something shifts. They get lighter. They get clearer. They get stronger.

This show is an extension of that work.

My hope is simple:
That these stories spark conversations — at home, in classrooms, and in communities everywhere.
Because when people talk, people heal. And when people heal, they grow.
