When I check under system info it only mentions it is a home edition but I have spent a day trying and failing to install additional languages. As in, I go to languages, add a new one, download it but when it gets to the installation step it just stops without an error message. So, will a single language version say ‘Windows 10 SL Home’? Or is that information hidden? Also, if you have a language notification in the Notification Area, for example ENG for English, it means that there is more than one language installed and clicking this gives you the opportunity to switch between them.

I can add new languages under Region and language but it won’t install new packages, so I can’t change the display language which is what my end goal is. As a result I have more then one language in the language bar but only French is availible to be set as the display language.

But once done its been fine. Mystery why it won’t install new packages for you. Have you tried fooling it by changing your region to get the language you want if it is not French and your region is set currently to France? I ran that script and it doesn’t seem to be a SL version. I’ve attached what I got back. Just did a factory reset, telling it to use English, with out success. My last recourse is to do a clean install, I guess Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

Ive tried cleaning out the downloads folder. Tried manually installing using lpksetup. It is a single language version based on the fact that it is an OEM install. Thanks for clarifying that.
